If you've never had laundry picked up from your home before, that's completely okay. Most of our neighbors in Coulee Dam, Electric City, and Grand Coulee were first-timers once, too. Here's exactly how the first pickup goes — no surprises, no guesswork.
Your first pickup
Put your laundry in a basket, a clean trash bag, or a tied pillowcase — whatever you have. Leave it on the front porch, by the side door, or anywhere sheltered near your entry. We'll text you the morning of pickup with the window.
Jennifer or a team member swings by in the morning, grabs your bag, and sends a quick "got it!" text. You don't need to be home — most first-time families aren't, and that's totally fine.
Your clothes get sorted, washed, dried, and folded the same day at our facility — no mixed loads, no shortcuts. We use gentle detergents by default; tell us at booking if you have a preferred product or anything to avoid.
Clean, folded laundry is dropped back on your porch — usually the next morning, sometimes same day. No signature required, no awkward handoff. You come home to a bag of fresh clothes waiting for you.
The fine print (but friendly)
Cash, check, or Venmo ($FreshWing) — whichever is easiest for you. Pickup is free; you settle up on delivery once you've seen the finished load.
Most pickups come back the very next morning. If you're booking in the afternoon, expect it back within 24 hours — we'll text you when it's dropped off.
Just leave your bag on the porch, by the side door, or anywhere sheltered. We pickup and deliver without you being there — most working families and renters prefer it this way.
A laundry basket, a clean kitchen trash bag, or a tied pillowcase — any of these work. Dirty clothes only, please (no dishes, no wet towels sitting in water). One bag per pickup is plenty for most families.
First-time questions
Anything that holds dirty laundry — a basket, a clean trash bag, a tied pillowcase, even a reusable grocery tote. Leave it sheltered (under an eave, side door, or back porch) and we'll grab it during your pickup window. No need to sort by color — we do that.
Nope. The whole point of FreshWing is that you don't have to be there. Most first-timers leave a bag on the porch before work and come home to clean, folded laundry waiting for them. We'll text you at pickup and again at delivery so you always know what's happening.
Usually the very next morning. Mornings are our main pickup window — if we grab your bag by 10am, you'll likely have it back the following morning. Weekend pickups and bigger loads may take an extra day; we'll always text you with an updated ETA.
Pickup is free. You pay after delivery — once you've seen the finished load — by cash, check, or Venmo (@FreshWing). Pricing is $1.50–$2.50 per pound, or a flat $25–$40 per load, whichever works better for you. We can quote after the first pickup so there are no surprises.
Leave your bag somewhere sheltered — under an awning, on a covered porch, in a carport, or beside the side door. If you'd rather not leave it out, text us 509-705-5440 and we'll arrange a quick doorstep handoff that works for your schedule.
Absolutely. Mix everything in the same bag — shirts, pants, socks, towels, sheets, pillowcases. We'll wash it all together unless you specifically ask us to separate items. If you have a delicate piece (silk blouse, anything dry-clean only), just leave a sticky note on it and we'll set it aside.
Pick a day that works — we'll handle the rest. Most new families book two weeks ahead so they can plan around it.
